One of the best things about the fluid mechanism on the Logic 200/220 ergonomic office chair range is the minimal movement of the front of the seat when leaning backward - Your feet remain in contact with the floor, minimising pressure on the underside of your thigh.
The Logic 200/220 has a high backrest with padding to provide support between the shoulders and pronounced support for the curve of the back to provide optimum sitting comfort. The backrest narrows towards the top to allow greater freedom of movement for the arms.
You will notice the effect as soon as you sit down. First of all, the vertical movement of the front of the seat is minimal when leaning backward or forward. Your feet always remain in contact with the floor, minimising the pressure against the underside of your thighs, which eliminates numbness due to restricted blood circulation. Secondly, the backrest height remains constant, regardless of the seat angle. Consequently, the lumbar support is always in the correct position, which helps facilitate an upright posture.
The Logic 200 and 220 models are the latest additions to the RH Logic range - the previous 300 and 400 models (which are still great!) have been among our best sellers for 15+ years!
The 200 and 220 models have easier to use controls and we find them a little better for encouraging greater movement during the working day. Movement is essential for spinal health - especially if you spend long hours at a desk. We've written a wicked blog post on this subject: Which you can read here.
Tilt mechanism. Infinitely adjustable and can be locked in any chosen position. We recommend to work with the tilt open to encourage active seating. Separately adjustable backrest angle for support in any position.
The RH Logic is a great chair that can be customised to your perfect fit. With modular seat pads, arm rests and gas lifts to make a chair that really works for you. One aspect that can completely change how you can use the chair is how high you will sit.
The gas lift determines the range of seat heights for your chair, so it’s important to find the right one for you. There are a few factors to consider when making your decision, and we can help! The best way to find the perfect fit is to test them out in store or give us a call on 0207 935 9120. Our excellent team members will be happy to discuss your requirements and help you find the perfect gas lift.
Here’s a quick guide to the different height ranges for each gas lift:
Gas Stem A (Seat Height 49.5-62.5 cm) The high range gas lift. The taller of seating heights available for the Logic range. Most appropriate for height adjustable desks.
Gas Stem B (Seat Height 48-61 cm) The mid range gas lift. Likely suitable for most average height desks, with flexibility to accommodate a range of people.
Gas Stem 4T (Seat Height 39.4-52.6 cm) The shortest range of seating heights, suitable for those at shorter than average desks or needing a particularly short seat height.
We have sold and loved RH chairs for more than 25 years.
RH is known for producing the absolute best ergonomic office chairs. They don't use mesh, so the seats don't sag underneath you, and the mesh doesn't droop on the backrest after a long day.
Expensive yes, but worth every penny for how long they last, the adjustments and how comfortable they are.
if you will be sitting for more than 8 hours, it's worth spending the extra, we promise.
